Please note that there is no demo version of Image Alchemy PS. You can test
its functionality using our online demo.
Downloading and installing the UNIX versions of Image Alchemy is
straightforward; it involves downloading the software by clicking on the
appropriate version, moving the file to a directory named 'alchemy',
uncompressing the file with the UNIX uncompress command, and extracting the tar
file with the UNIX tar command.
Note!
If your web browser is complaining about problems connecting to the FTP
server when trying to download a demo, chances are you have your browser
configured incorrectly. The FTP server requires a valid email address as a
password when logging in anonymously; you must configure your browser to send
your email address when logging in anonymously, as well as have given it a
valid email address. By default, both Netscape Navigator and Internet Explorer
send a generic address (mozilla@ and IE?0User@) - both will be rejected. You
can find these settings under "Preferences" or the like.
